Dunlop SP Sport FM901

Does anyone know about these tires? The prices are unreal great, and the written reviews on Tire Rack are pretty good, but I thought I read someone say they were being replaced by the Direzza. I still see so many shops selling them, but every time I look they're out of stock, but they don't know if they're discontinued or just out of stock for the time being. Anyone have any info?

Yeah, they discontinued them a few months ago. Great tire though.

Well I REALLY wanted to get some, but Rishie said they have a low treadwear rating. I could deal with that, the price could not be beat. Hmmm, I guess my search continues.

fm901 are the ****. They last a long time too. I rate them better than es100 and similiar tires but not quite as good as hankook r-s2 or khumo mx. They get a little slippery when hot but not as bad as azenis. My favorite charactaristic about the fm901 is that it is very easy to recover and regain grip, unlike some tires where you are fucked if you start to understeer.

Well, hopefully I can find a set then. You know of a place that might still have them?
