DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5 brake fluid. What's the difference?

Very good read, i've always assumed that was better than 4 and 4 better than 3, but thats not nessarily the case.

well im running dot5 in my T2. Im guessing i should probably flush this out soon?

You have to be careful about flushing Dot5 out of your system. Dot5 is silicone based and tends to cling to the inside of your lines. This makes it VERY hard to get rid of. For this reason, it is not recommended to switch from Dot5 back to Dot4.
