Does anyone have experience with low profile snow tires

I usually run a smaller diameter rim and tall snow tire but I thinking about leaving my 17s on and running low profile snow tires. Does anybody have any feedback on driving with low profile snow tires.

Thanks in advance

If you're driving a seven in the snow, I hope there is no salt where you are. Anyway I've run low profile snows (to clear brakes on my so called Daily driver). They are not gonna handle good or anything, but it's not like driving on studded snows. Don't expect it handle well, but you'll get around fine with them.

Thanks X,

I am from Toronto, we get salt but I stay of the road whenever it snows, it is really for where I get caught unexpectedly. I drive a FC vert in the summer and pickup a FC coupe for the winters. It has worked well for a couple of years but with the winter being longer than the summer I just hate driving around with ugly wheels for most of the year.

Yep. They're great. I used Blizzaks LMs on my BMW. Kicked ***.

Not on my FD, but I have a set of Pirelli PZero Nero M+S on my Audi. Obviously 4 wheel drive has some effect, but they are MUCH better than when I got caught last December with my S03s on.

Not extremely expensive and look like a high performance tire. Not bad at all on the road either. No where near an S03, but a good compromise all around.
