Do I need spacers?
Do I need spacers?
I have a 91 TII. I was wondering if I would need spacers if I was to get FD rims with a GC/AGX setup. I read some say yes and some say no. Anybody hav a definite answer? Thanks

Well the offset on the FD wheel is +50 on 16,8 inch wheel.
The most positive you should run, even with GC's is a +40 on an 8" width. This will allow the use of 225's. So I would suggest a 15mm spacer for the front. If you want to run 245's in the back then a 15 will do fine there as well. If you want to make the rear more aggressive you can use the 25mm spacer and it will work great as well.
Let me know if you need them, you'll have trouble finding ones for the FC. It follows another applications part number to get the centerbore right.
I would suggest getting the FD spacers so the wheel is hubcentric to the spacer and placement of it will be much easier to line up.
Good luck, Rishie
Expect to spend around $240.00 shipped.

The spacers I'm reccommending, and the only really good ones, are the H&R ones. They only come in 5,15,25 mm increments and are hubcentric as well as studded so you will not to spend time or money on putting in longer studs. Hence the hefty price tag.
