What are you asking?

Are you asking if wheels with a +44 offset will fit a 3rd gen or are you asking if stock 3rd gen wheels will fit another gen 7?

Offset is simply the distance between the imaginary center line of the wheel and the mounting surface of the center section/wheel hub.

You cannot mention offset w/o mentioning the width of the wheel.

Ex. A 17X11 +40 adds 1" to both sides of a 17X9 +40 (to borrow from an example in another thread, here:
https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=140802)

Obviously, if you don't have an extra inch on the inside (to clear suspension bits) or on the outside (to clear the fender lip), 17X11 +40 will not work. Therefore, we can't just make a blank statement that a +40 (or +50, or +whatever) wheel will fit.

So basically Dclin is asking you to tell us the wheel's complete specifications: width and offset are dependent on each other.

Most likely it will fit. Cause we don't condone putting thinner than an 8" wheel on the FD. As long as it's not 9.5-10" wide you should be fine. But to be safe please give us the width spec on the wheel.
