differental

when a differental goes bad it makes a clunking noise? when i start and go it clunks people say that is the differental... is this true?

usually they will make a little noise. also depends on the year and type of diff. if your diff was broke, chances are you wouldn't be able to drive it. could possibly be an axle or driveshaft as well

you need to be a little more specific. you get a cluncking noise when u change gears from first to reverse, or you get a clunking noise when u start to drive? is it a single clunk when starting to accelerate? or does it clunk while in motion depending on speed?
