cross drilled slotted rotors vs. normal

I need new rotors and the corss drilled and slotted rotors are cool looking but i hear they're not as good as just plain rotors. I guess cross drilled and slotted rotors are weaker and warp easier. The cross drilled and slotted is an old design to get rid of brake dust for the back in the day brake pads. I dunno any comments?

Also what pads and rotors do you guys recomend?

Try the EBC dimpled rotors. They shouldn't warp, and they also look pretty cool. If you track your car at all, leave the rotors completely smooth. The more iron the better the heat-sinking capacity...

Slotted and drilled are fine for anything but track use (road racing -- I'm not talking about the drag "strip"). If you don't use the car on the track, get whatever you think looks best.

For street pads, people seem to use stock Mazda pads, EBC Green, Hawk HPS (or HP+, but they are dusty and noisy), Porterfield R4S, Endless, others.
