Correct Orientation of OEM Rubber Shock Hats

Correct Orientation of OEM Rubber Shock Hats

No idea what to call these. They sit on top of the shock in the engine bay (and rear) and are little rubber pieces that do ???

I've seen pictures of them with both sides up. Any definitive answer (and preferably) picture of the correct installation?

you talking about those hard plastic round pieces that sit on top of the stopper assembly?? if so, the flat side should be the top side...like a spacer for the mounting rubber and the stopper assembly
