Considering some tires for stock rims, feedback appreciated :)

Hey all,

Its time for me to buy some new tires for my FD and im going to be putting them on thestockrims ( plan on going through 1 more set of tires before I upgrade rims )

Currently im running firestone firehawks and they are a pretty decent tire it seems. Im going to be running 245/45/16 all around.

so far ive been looking at

BFgoodrich T/A KDW 134$

Yokohama ES100's 99$

Toyo TS-1 no idea on price

bridgestone potenza RE750 123 $

I do not want to go too high price wise on tires yet. I'll be spending the big dough when I Get new rims, but I still want a good tire.

These will be mostly driven on the street and a few runs at gingerman once summer hits to its fullest.

Frankly, I need some help on deciding. Ive been looking all over the internet, and everything is just mashed with positive and negative opionions.

So please any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks!

Steve

245/45/16 for $122 - best deal anywhere.

And I'd take these hands down over the other tires you picked.

wow thats a good price. the cheapest I found those for were like 160/tire.

Is that a reputable store to buy from?

I say get the BFG G-Force T/A KDW. My car was at the BFG Kick-Asphalt tour at Nopi in Atlanta and I got a chance to drive the cars with the different tires. KDW was the best tire I had a chance to drive on. Also got to drive the Toyo, Potenza, and Kuhmo.

The Yokohama ES100's are not a very good tire compared to the Bridgestone 750. I bought the Yoko's, and was so dissapointed that I sent them back. I have the 750's now, and it is a huge improvement. I can't comment on the others.

Don't buy the ES100

Toyos are nice. for $122, I'd get them. My next choice would probably be the adam_c's.
