juicy josh is right about the weight shift. Its the same reason that when you put something on enough of an angle it falls over. You wll also notice this if 2 people carry a heavy box up stairs. Most of the weight is put on the lower person. Their may not be much shift but it is there.

FD has a 95.5" wheelbase. Lets say we drop the rear a 1/4" as the guy above states. That creates a difference in rake of .15 degrees. I don't know the CG height off the top of my head but lets use 24" to be safe. A .15 degree rake on a 95.5" wheelbase with a 24" CG height means the CG will shift less than 1/16" of an inch rearward! That's impressive!!!!
You could shift the CG that far by emptying your ashtray.Ride height alters weight distribution so you can make the front vs rear percentage whatever you like by altering relative ride height? NO.
