coilover for my 3rd gen

i have been searching for new suspension, i have stock suspenion and was wondering what the best coilovers would be for my car. it will be for street driving and racing. i was wondering what would be the best for my car, looking to spend 1000-1500$ or less. and any links to sites that are good?

Brand new or used? new rotaryextreme.com as a apexi evx set up for 1,000 all the others are anywhere in the 1000-2000 area. I had tein HE's on the 240sx drift car and i loved them i'll problably go with another tein set up for my FD

i'm looking into getting the ExV's from Apex'i but found out that they are made in Taiwan. their QC just isn't really up to par with japanese made parts. still interested, but trying to get first hand input from owners and how they handle on street. they have 12kg front and back...sorta stiff compared to other setups from other manufacturers. 32 way adj. monotube dampers. independent spring load from ride height. but you know what they say: If it's too good to be true, it is.

for me, anything under $2k is my set allowance for this piece of the suspension puzzle. Looking at Tein is the next possiblity for me (Super Drift Spec). What ever happened to the HE's? don't like the RA's cuz you can't set spring load apart from ride height, affects stroke length. GP Sports, Erfolgkei GX, Apex N1 at the most.

choices, choices, choices. and some people worry about the clothes they're going to wear the next day...
