Coil over / spring combo
Ok, I'm looking at coil over set up. I have 18" rims, stock suspension, but only 2" clearance on front. So i think a standard 1" drop in the front w/ RB, H&R, Eibach springs would be risky w/o Coil over struts.
Not able to spend more than $1500 on the deal. Question is if you get coil overs should i use their springs or the spings made by H&R, RB, Eibach designed for car? heard about matching valving to spring rates. But heard bad spring rates really screw up your handling.
I have been looking at Tien HA's
Thoughts advice?

The Ground Control coilover kits come with springs made by Eibach. Tein and Zeal/Endless makes their own springs, I believe. I can't say for JIC, HKS, A'pexi, Tanabe.
Yes, it's important that your struts be valved to match your spring rates. Without that, you won't get the full benefit of adjustability of the strut and you run the risk of over/under damping your strut. For your price range, the Tein HA's or the Flex are a fairly good bargain. From what members have posted, I might scrounge up the extra $100 for the JIC FLT-A2's.
