clunks from back passenger area

Well i know it cant be the bushings in the rear because everything was changed about 2 months ago, new pillows ***** and super pro, aftermarket trailing/toe., and oem lca bushing..

I notice when going over bumps i hear a clunk from the rear passenger side only, thinking something was loose with the suspension, i went and checked, everything was tight. Thought it then was something in the trunk itself, checked the Spare to make sure its bolted all the way, and the jack. Still

Then i thought about maybe the suspension is going, i dont remember what its called but the upper mount maybe? i believe the rubber that would go between the suspension and the body could of worn and cause clunks when going over any bump?

wondering if maybe a pillowball went out again (was defected or something), but most likely has to be the shocks or upper mounts mounts... last time my shocks went out the rear of the car lowered

Check the nut at the top of the shock. It can come loose sometimes. Also check the sway bar.

will check the nut, if not that, ill check the swaybar, i did have to take that off when doing the rear bushings so maybe i didnt tighten it or something.

I think it was the nut, was pushing on the back with the trunk open and was hearing it from there, I tried tighting it and it barely moved at all, pushed down on the car again and I don't hear any clunk. Gonna take it out for a ride later to make sure..But thanks graced that seems it might of been the issue

i had the same problem, it ended up being the top center nut on the coilover, i thought it was the exhaust for the longest.

My FD has done it for years. Also after new pillow *****. Mine seems to be more from the bumper. I just have accepted it as life with a 20 year old car.
