The clunk is a punk!

Well I spent the day switching out 4 pillowball spherical bearings/bushings on one side to get rid of that annoying clunk my car has had since the day I bought it. I made the project about as hard as I could and everything that could have gone wrong went wrong (I havent ever been exposed to massive amounts radiation yet you should have seen the veins popping out of my neck and I am pretty sure my skin was turning green). But after it was all back together it was all worthwhile because that clunk is gone and soon to be forgotten - NOT!!!

I still have a clunk!!!

That damn clunk is a punk!!!

$160 in probably needless parts and a day of frustration...maybe I will take them back out and return them - HA - RIGHT!

Back to the drawing board...

all you spent was $160?? From what I remember I replaced 6 bushings and they were $50 each. That solved my problem.

I have the clunk on the right side only so I just did that side - 3 pillowballs and then the bushing on the toelink. I guess the next try will be a complete bushing replacement.
