I bought these from a buddy for the tires. paid $150. threw them on and hated it, especialy with the center caps. they are from a mustang, 17*8".

decided i would paunt them and now i love them. pinted the inside red and the outside satin black. i also hit the hubs with the black.

 

very very interesting painting the inside of the wheel red. I think i could go either way with it like that. My question is how do you feel about the tires. I love the michelin pilot sports, which is the same compound in your raptors. but are they really a decent tire?

 

yeah, the tires are great. I haven't yet found there limits, but it will as soon as i have a dry day off from work. the tires are 235/45/17. I'm worried I'm going to rub when I install the new springs. But I'll deal with that then.

 

Mustang wheels rock. You can't beat them for the price. Painting them is especially fun (see sig).

 

I'm toying with the idea of painting a red stripe around the rim. What do you guys think?

 

gonna say with a red stripe and red inners that would be taking it too far.

 

Those look great. I had those same wheels on my 99 GT, never thought they would look so good with the center caps removed. Good job!
