Changing rear tires only

If I were to change my rear tires only (because the front tires are still okay). Is this okay? Is this a dumb question?

Thank you

Most important is that you change them in pairs and keep the same kind of tires.

It's okay. Always preferable to do all of them but if the fronts are still good just replace the rears with the same brand and model as what's up front.
