Change in steering ballance

Hi everybody. My 95 FD3S came from japan with 17" WORK wheels. 9" rear and 8" front. I didnt like them much because of looks so i bought VOLK RAYS Touring Evolution from japanese auctions. same size, 17"; 8 front; 9 rear. Now i've got some understeer. not terrible, but when driving on the limit at the track, i feel the car has more understeer both on decceleration and acceleration. The difference is that with same width, work wheels looked wider, especialy in the back, almost expanding out of wheel arches. What should i do to restore original balance of the car? Work wheels are already sold and even if they were not, i would not put them back.

You could try a stock 1993 rear sway bar. They are a little stiffer than the 94 and 95 rear sway bars. A stiffer rear should dial out some of your understeer. This is where I would start.

If the offsets are different that can change the wheel rates, which will change the handling.
