centering steering rack

This is my history. So I bought my s4 t2 used with a manual rack already installed, I also had an aftermarket wheel at this time.

A year after owning it, I curbed my front right bad, bad enough to bend my inner tie rod end, I purchased an aftermarket rod. I wad never able to match up the length with the bent rod. One side uses a 13mm to adjust, another had a 12mm. I'm hoping the lengths of my left and right inner tie rod are equal

I also got a set of godspeed bump steer outer ends.

Anyways, it's been years, but I finally got around to getting my car on an alignment rack to see where things are at. one side I was scared I would run out of threads for the outter rod end, while the other has plenty

I know some cars come with marks on the rack to center it. Does my manual rack have something like that? If noti was going to mark it full left and full right, and figure out the middle. Then I can double check my steering wheel position, and also give me an idea if my tie rod lengths are off.

i think there actually is a little mark, but turn the rack all the way one way, and then all the way the other, counting the turns. divide by 2, and turn back the other way that much.
