Centering Ring Falling out

I just got a tire and wheel package from the Tire Rack and the centering rings keep falling out. Is this normal? I used them twice at an auto x event this weekend, then took them off.

Falling out when you remove the wheel? Or falling out when driving? You don't really need centering rings, but it makes it easier to mount the tires. They should be reasonably tight on either the wheel or the hub so that they don't fall off. Mine are plastic, they have an angled lip on the back to keep them from coming off when the wheels are on and they stick to the hubs, I have to pry them off.

Sometimes they may slip off. Just put a few small dabs of silicone or something on there to glue them in place yet allow them to be easily removed.
