Can anyone vouch for these tires?

Well, this is going to be my first year driving in the local autocross. I dont plan on doing any mods on my car really. I have some fairly shitty 18 by 8 rims, there heavy as hell, but at least there wide and low profile.
Looking around for new rubber i was recommended these over BFG's and Pirelli's:

My car is mostly stock, the only mod is an aftermarket intake, and if I do do anything it will be some updated suspension and maybe brakes.
Thanks

I just got some Falken RT-615s I will be autocrossing in a month. According Grassroots Motorsports they are the best street/competition tire on the market. Sorry I can't help with the specific tires you asked about.

Those are not even close to BFG KD or Pirelli Nero/Pzero. Go to www.tirerack.com and look under their max and extreme performance categories in your size (most likely 225/40 18).
Woah good guess, It slipped my mind to post my tire size. but ive thought about it a little more. And to be honest, these fat tires just feel so sluggish after having 185/70r14's on. Im wondering if i should just find some 15 or 16" rims and get tires for that.
But thanks for the respone. I was wondering why this guy told me that "any person in their right mind" would never go for BFG's.... but does nascar, Formula 1, and most drift leagues use bfg and only bfg. But whatever.

At first, when i saw that tire you linked to, i was thinking "wow, is that a totally no-name tire?" but after 3 seconds of research i found that its made by goodyear. So its probably not bad. But what it says here makes it sound more comfort and ride oriented.
