Hey guys I was wondering if any one on the forum has a set up like this on their car? How’s the size and what aim most worried about is the offset on what I posted at the bottom will these wheels work for the Fd? One other thing If any of you guys on the forum running this set up what size tires are you using for them not tu rube on the fenders? Thanks

Size : 19 x 8.5(front) & 19 x 9.5(rear)

Keep in mind I'm not a drifter, so I'm aiming my advice at 'normal' fitment......

Those won't work.

you'd want something like a +38 for the front, and a +45 for the rear for those widths.

Also, 19s are just too big for an FD, seriously. You will slow your car down in the lower gears, in a big way. This from increased weight and larger rolling diameter.

Thanks

How about this setup in 18 inch will these work? Thanks

Size : 18 x 8(front) & 18 x 9(rear)

Offset : 38mm(front) & 38mm(rear)

Or does the size of the rim dond matter thats just what I need for an offset for those size wheels?

What kind of power are you making?

If you're going to go to the trouble of upgrading, I'd recommend 18x9 and 18x10 with offsets of +45 front and +50 rear. This'll let you safely run 255/35 and 285/30 tires so you can get some grip and traction

I currently run 18x9.5 with +35mm front and rear at stock height. With a stiff suspension I had to slightly roll the fenders to prevent rub. The front fits perfectly and are completely flush with the fender with a slightly aggressive negative camber but it does rub the inner wheel well lining towards the passenger compartment so that nedded to be bent back. The rears would use a 5mm spacer to achieve the same effect but as is works really well.

I haven't been able to fully utilize the additional grip on a road course as of yet but I can tell you that it sticks like crazy on autoX and I don't notice any more sliding of the rear-end with 400whp accelerations in a straight line. Or maybe that's just the R-compounds.

Well ok can any one tell me if this set up will work for an Fd? The reason aim asking this is because the guy that’s selling these wheels sad that they will work. Now for the power aim pushing isn’t much almost 300whp.

Size : 18 x 8(front) & 18 x 9(rear)

Offset : 38mm(front) & 38mm(rear)

Have you checked the sticky at the top of the Suspension/Wheels/Tires/Brakes section yet?? it has all sizes, diameters and offsets for the FD.
