Bushing Problem for an 93 FD
Anyone knows where i can get a set of aftermarket rear bushings kit for my 93 FD? The rear suspension ( i'm sure its not the struts or springs) is making a lot of noice when over some speed bump and the bass pound in the trunk.
Thanks for anyones help.

Your noise could be caused by several problems, worn bushings, diff mounts, broken PPF.
jimlab used to make a set of polyurethane bushings, you can now get similar ones from www.n-tech.net (look under group buys). not all of the bushings will be replaced with the n-tech bushing set.
do a search, this topic comes up pretty frequently

I think your problem would be solved by one or more of these, starting with the most likely at the top:
- bad toe links, replace with ones from M2 Performance
- bad stock pillow ball bushings, replace with stock (my DIY instructions: http://www.maxcooper.com/rx7/how-to/...lls/index.html or have a shop do it)
- bad wheel bearings, get a shop to replace them as you need a press
The Nylon (not poly) bushings that Jim designed and produced and that are now available from N-Tech are not likely to solve your clunking problems. They are a nice performance upgrade, but my own experience is that they make the front noisier and don't affect clunking in the rear. Don't get them to quiet your suspension, get them to sharpen your car's responses.
