Bump stop options?

I have been having an on going problem with rubbing the top of my wheel wells. First I had stock springs. Then I got some H&R Sport springs. Now I have Ground Control coilovers with 550# front 450# rears. The stock bumb stops were trashed so Tri Point gave me some replacements, not stock. They still allow the tires to hit the wheel well. Keep in mind this is with stock rim and tire. It is not hitting the sides at all, just the top. I am told the stock bump stops will not hold up to open tracking. Does anybody know about any aftermarket bump stops that might work?

TrueChoice.com or Tri-Point should be able to get you whatever bump rubbers you want. 550 front springs should be stiff enough to allow you to run the car pretty low without rubbing, in my experience. You might consider raising the ride height at least as a temporary measure and perhaps as a long term solution. The other thing to try is a stiffer front sway bar as that will also help limit travel. You don't want to run the bump rubbers too low because you lose traction from the suspension stiffening when you hit them (which can be scary, of course).

Yep, I have done that. Yep, it was scary.

As Max said, Truechoice has all the bump rubbers a guy could possibly want; give them a call. Mine were shot too.

I got some from Tri Point but I don't think the car knows they are there. I raised the car 1 and1/4 turns on the coilovers and that almost eliminated the problem. On the other hand I am getting better on the track and that is causing more rubbing. Getting faster in the turns and such. I thought about getting one of the the adjustable fron sway bars to help with this. Tri Point is about 20 min from my house so it is easy to get things from them. I would like my car to be the same at at least two track events in a row.
