This is just what I do in this situation. Either get a new hub assembly, or.. You can take the wheel off and hit the broken studs with a metal hammer hard enough to knock them out the back side.. get the new lug studs from a part store or dealership and re-install in a simular fashion.. bang on the back.. also you can put several washers on there and a lug nut to suck it through to the hub, remount the wheel and lug nuts and torque down to 90-100 lbs.

hope that helps some.

or you could try to get a chizzle in there and try to hammer them off, but that is a big risk to the wheel.. big chings and what not..

LOL....yes exactly, i will have to drill it out, i've tried to hammer a socket on what's left of the lugnut and it's just too tight, ....i need a smaller drill bit which i will get this weekend and go to town in it....gonna be a tedious journey

just out of curiosity, how long did it take you to drill it out? I an working on a wheel stud my brother in law snapped the head off. I have been through 5 bits I think. ( it honestly could have been the drill I borrowed from a neighbor. His variable speed was messed up. it only had off and really fast) I recently got a new drill. Any advice on a type of bit for this job?
