Exclamation Brakes squeek HELP!

ok i have Brembo rotors and Hawk pads why are they squeeking? i know how to do breaks so its not like i didnt use break Klean...on my buddies 2nd gen they dont squeek do i just need to spray some brake lube on some parts?

What Hawk pads are they? Did you PROPERLY bed the pads? The Hawk HP+ will still squeal on very light brake applications, even properly bedded.

You might try some of that anti-squeal compound between the pad and the caliper/piston, too. And make sure you have all the brake shims and related hardware (or if you do, try removing the shims). Brake squeal can be hard to fix, so you might have to try a few different things to find a solution.

i've got the hp+'s and the squeak like crazy. i've been told by several people who've ran them that it's a common problem. it only does it under light braking though, under a heavy load, they don't do anything other than slow down like crazy

yea mines under light load and once in a great while under a heavy load
