Brake drag issue??? From road racing
My 93 R1 has stock brakes w Hawk HP plus pads all the way around. I've raced the car b4 these pads and never had a problem except the expected fluid boiling which I bleed out.
After racing 2 days (10 sessions) my first time w/ HP plus pads and new rotors, the car has a light drag on all 4 corners. It has been suggested I melted the orings in the caliper. Is that possible on all 4 corners at the same time? Any other possibilities. Does this happen to anyone else? What is the fix. THanks

It's normal for the HP Plus's to drag a bit and get noisy after really hard driving. It will go away.
In any case, it's of great importance to pull the pads and inspect the calipers anyway. If there is any damage to the boots (they cover the piston seals) I'd rebuild them.

^ What he said.
I street drove HP+'s for a while and they would "drag"... wouldnt even call it dragging... more like staying close ready to bite. You shouldnt have any problem jacking the car up and being able to spin each corner easily. If it's harder than you think it should be, pull out the pads and inspect the pistons.
It's too easy not to check.
