Both look great though.
You are correct, way more fd's with meisters and I would rationale that because on a sock body fd it is difficult to get concave te37s due to offsets unless you ran a stretch tire and negative camber. Anyways, I love my meisters:

Look at it this way...

The Meister SP1's may seem common on FD's that you find here on the forums..

But ask yourself this: Are there any FD's where YOU live with them?? If not, then who cares if a buncha people online (in different states) have them.

It just means they are just THAT good-looking, and a lot of people like them too.

I would get SP1's for MY FD too if I found them for a good deal, but I am finding myself drawn more towards the 6-8 spoke design of the Advan line of rims...RZ-DF is my current fav...now to save up like ~$2,500+

I had a set of 18X8/18X9 Emotion XD9's. They're not bad rims, but I sold them before I even put them onto my FD...they just weren't agressive enough IMO.

SP1's (and all look-alikes), Volk GTC's & GTP's, and Advan RZ/RS/RZ-DF's are the best-looking FD rims IMHO.

Wanted to correct something that was stated earlier.

Meister S1 has forged disk in these sizes.

18" 2 piece
19" 3 piece

At least that's how it was 5-6 years back when we were the exclusive importer for the Meister series wheel.

all other sizes have cast disk/centers

Thanks,
Rishie

Aggressive = not big brake friendly

Thanx for the kind words! As some say the rim may be played out on the forum, but IMO it is the rim that compliments the curves of the FD the most.

And like the FD, they both have timless apeal. I wouldnt trade them for anything on the market today....

Old thread...but was asked by someone what the specs on these wheels are...

18x9 fronts 245/35/18 (need to go wider though, dont like the stretched look).
Rears are 18x10.5 with 285/30/18 running Hankook Ventus
