Question Biggest tires that fit on stock fc 15" rims

What is the biggest size I can put on my stock 15 in. rims without rubbing against the inner fender. Right now I have 215/60/R15s and whenever I turn the steering to all the way left or right it rubs. I don't want this, but I do want the biggest and widest tires that will fit without rubbing. Thanks.

Does anyone know if 225/50/15s would work, or what about 225/55/15s?

How can I put this? Don't be so cheap. Get wider wheels or just stick with the stock size tires. Wider tires aren't better if they don't match the wheel. This subject has been covered hundreds of times. You could put 245/50's on them if you simply wanted to prove a bet, but that wouldn't be good. 205's are good for 7" wide wheels, so they are already borderline too wide for the 6" wide rims from the factory. Just try to focus on getting the best tires in that size. A smaller high grip tire might be better than a wider lower end performance tire.
