BIG tires

Has anybody gone with a 245 front / 275 rear ?

I've heard the handling feels a lot heavier with a 245 up front, any impressions?

(Thinking of going 18x8.5 - 245/40/18 front, 18x9.5 - 275/35/18 rear : single turbo, all the supporting mods, 3mm seals, full rebuild, street port etc etc etc . . . 400+ whp on tap).

Listing your car might help, as I doubt the 97 Civic Hatch in your profile is going to be sporting 275s....

245's up front won't bother you... I run 255/35/18 up front... love em.

wow

sorry

I have a '93 single turbo full engine build up RX-7 base model, with 17x7 Enkei RS-Evolution 3-pieces right now, sporting 235/40/17s. They're like bike wheels.

You need a real rear tire. Step up to the 275/35, 245/40 combo... i'd actually try to get a 9" front wheel if you can, and run the 255/35, because it's shorter. I'm in your area, you can check mine out sometime, i love the combo.
