My friend had 19" iForged on his benz, w/ painted centers. The clear coat started flaking off after six months.

Some info when someone was asking about either BBS or iForged wheels:

and some more info (if people plan to drive hard on iForged):

I can understand a two or three piece wheel, but how can you manufacture a user selectable offset in a one piece FORGED wheel?

I like my Enkei RPF1s. Not too expensive, lightweight, pretty damn strong, and easy to find if you need to buy a spare or something. Not bad looking either, IMO.

Fikse's I think come in 18*8.5 and 18*10 and cost 800+$ each.

Being custom wheels they come in any size and offset you want. My 18x9 and 18x10 Profil 13's would be about $5000 retail w/o tires. Thanks to Frtiz Flynn I got them used at quite a discount.

The Volk CE28N's I wanted would have been around $2600 w/o tires. They are forged monoblock and one of the lightest but you're SOL when you bend one and it takes 6 months for a replacement or worse Volk discontinues them.

I got a slight bend in outer lip on one of my front wheels recently and it was readily fixed with two whacks from a rubber mall. Not sure if that trick would have worked on the Volks.

In professional racing circles Fikse wheels are known for being one of the sturdier wheels you can get.

Jack, I'm definitely envious of the fact that you're running Fikses with the Stoptech BBK. With the offsets on my FM5s, there is zero room for a bigger caliper. I think I might PM Fritz and tell him to keep my in mind if he ever comes upon a set of Fikses in a more brake-generous size......

I don't remember the sizing and offsets on my old FM-10's. But I remember it took a 6.5inch pothole @ 110km/h to bend my lip. No cracks nothing and I was driving the car in Montreal probably a city with worse roads than Bombay. Also cost 90$ to fix the bent lip and curb rash!

My favorite wheel for my particular color, Forgeline LS 2-piece. I weighed my 18x10.5 rear rim today, and it was (surprisingly) 18 lbs.

If I had a different colored car, though, I'd probably go with either CCW Classics, CCW Sp500s, Fikse FM-5s, BBS LMs, or Volk CE28Ns.

You'll have a hard time getting that information. Sadly, the owner (a friend of mine) passed away from Lou Gehrig's disease a few weeks ago .

That's a damn shame. Is he the man that had his friends and family build his seven for him? He must have had alot of admiration, love, and respect

They helped get it back into shape for him, yeah. He really modified the car quite a bit over the years, they all gave it that final push. This year's Deals Gap Rotary Rally has been dedicated to Mark.

That sucks, always a shame to see someone go like that. Not that I ever knew the guy, but I can relate. Not that its important, but whats going to become of his FD?

CCW classics with a black center are the best looking wheels on FD's.

If you likethat, you should try a black center/polished lip Fikse or Kenesis.
