Best wheels for FD

Hey guys,

I've had my FD since October 2000. It's time for some new wheels. I want something silver, polished, or chrome. My Fd is a '94 Touring in Silver with tinted windows. It has RB side skirts, RB front Air Dam, and the stock spoiler.

My favorite, and unfortunately discontinued, wheels were the Racing Hart M5 multipiece.

I want something truly BADASS, yet still classy.

What would you all use?

I'd like to see some pics of some silver FD's out there with aftermarket rims, or if this topic has already been covered, directed to a link. Thanks fellas.

There is no "best wheel".

*What is your budget?
*How do you use your car?
*Given your M5 preference, I'm guessing you like thicker 5-spoke wheels?

Yeah, I like the 5 spoke look. I use my car on the street, no track time...yet. I cruise around town and out to the lake, etc. And for a budget, I'm just looking for a good deal on what I want. Just need some ideas on what's out there.

I really just want to hear what all your favorites are.

What I mean is decent 5-spoke wheels are anywhere from $200-1000+ per wheel. There is a HUGE variety out there....and your budget will limit it to a few good brands.

Highest quality wheel brands with FD fitments: CCW, Kinesis, Fikse, Volk, Work, SSR

The ones in my sig are (discontinued) Enkei RP01s, which were fantastic for the price.

you dont just put any wheel&tire combo and say it'll look good on all other FD's too.... as stated before their is no "best" but i think every car is different. the wheel needs to match the car ie body kit, suspension, color and purpose of use IMHO! I'm a big fan of Fikse, most Volk's, SSR comp's, Advan RG II, Advan RS forged and many more. but like i said the wheel has to go with the car!!

here's some 17" Fikse FM10's in hi gloss black!!

Another biased Fikse owner. Another favorite is the Volk CE28N in mecury silver.

IMHO, the best wheels for an FD would be forged monoblock 18X10 +50 with clearance for big brakes. As far as I know, no one makes any.

That is interesting.....I bet it would be really hard to repair them....

Nice wheels. Didn't see any info on their website about offsets though, which is all critical.
