best rim for slicks
Whatever is cheap and light.
FD wheels, z32 wheels, some steelies off of another car..etc. Slicks have a flexible sidewall to absorb shock and can fit a more narrow wheel than normal. I've seen 225 M/T on a 5.5" wheel, for example.
