If you have a car that you drive on the street and actually still want the car to handle well and may occassionally see some rain..... hands down the Nitto NT-555R Drag Radial. I've pulled off 1.71 60ft times and 11.76@115mph with them and I drove throughout winter rain/shine.10-15K miles they last and IMO they are the ones you want on a "street car."

Best hooking Drag Radial are the Mickey Thompson ET Streets. However these are scary if you need to do emergency braking or leave an offramp too quickly. Get caught in the rain with these and you will be calling a tow truck to unstick your car from a telephone pole. Don't get caught in the rain with these. 1.50 60ft times are possible with these. They last about 5-10K miles.

The BFG Drag Radials are also nice but I personally like the Nitto DR's as they handle well and still give you the killer traction when you air them down to 18psi and do a little burnout.

245/50/16's fit on 16x7 T2 rims and the 3rd gen 16x8 rims.

On what size rim Von? I'd rather have more tire out back myself.

Why not run a 225/50/16 out back instead. There was a brand new set for sale in this size in the FOR SALE section from a guy in Oregon. $130 shipped!
