Yes I was running a 18 X 10.5 in the rear w/ a +41 offset, on 285s, but w/ stock suspension. It was quite close to the fender (ignoring that the stock height made sure it wouldn't rub).

Yeah, with a 225 tire on it.

Yes, 9 +35 should fit without rubbing at the rear, even with a proper size tire. Doesn't mean it's ideal though. 9 +45 could be used at all four corners and gives you the ability to rotate...a nice thing when running expensive tires.

I guess you guys missed the part where I said "Yes, 9 +35 should fit without rubbing at the rear, even with a proper size tire." Why don't you try reading better next time?

Oh, and battleaxe, why are you here again? You don't even have an RX-7, let alone an FD. Why don't you stay on the 240SX forum where I'm sure your driftard wheel fitments are more appreciated....I promise I won't TROLL your forum.

A 9 +35 with work with the "right" tire on the rear, but my experience is that you won't be happy with it up front.

I actually HAVE these wheels, and for the front, you want the 9" +42. I run that with a 255 on a lowered car with rolled fenders and it still rubs the liner sometimes, it's just a fact of life with these cars.

can't you just admit to being wrong? i did not refute that point, but the fact that you assumed my friend was running a 225 tire on a 9" wheel (hence me posting "the owner posted"). like i said in my previous post, great assumption. anyhow, no point bickering about something off topic.

Ok, fine, my assumption was incorrect. Happy now? It really has nothing to do with topic at hand however, which is why I didn't really give a **** if I was wrong or not.

Peter, does it only rub at full lock? Also, do you track on these rims, or are they your daily's? Just curious on the latter question. thanks!

Uhm. . . the sale is still on. Just bc the thread is old, doesn't mean that the sale is. They actually got cheaper. check the site out man. get em while you can, bc their essentially 50% off right now. . . . .

They rub the plastic liner a little at full-lock, but no more so than the other five or six pairs of different-sized aftermarket wheels I've had on the car.

I'm convinced that ALL plus-sized wheels rub the fender liner at least a little bit if you've lowered the car (mine is 25" at the fender lips). The main thing is to keep 'em off the metal fender.

I've tracked these, but the aren't my track wheels per se.

and to add, 17x9+45 w/ a 255 tire will rub the plastic liner at full lock as well (and destroy your fender if you're not careful. ugh)
