bad tires?

i think i got ripped off. bought 4 goodridge eagel 245/45/17 for $70. i thought it was a good deal at the time. i knew it was too good to be true.

one has a hole, like a nail went through it.

another has a some cracks on the side wall about 4 inches long.

are they still good? can i get them fixed? thanks

The one with cracking on the sidewall is no good. The punctured one may be repairable, but I wouldn't trust it for high speed runs.

Those tires are the wrong size for an RX-7 anyway. They will be a full inch too tall in diameter.

No, it's not repairable and indicates the tire has deteriorated. 245/45 17s are too tall. Read up on the tire tech sections on Tire Rack.

Thanks for paying attention in the other thread you started about this. I already answered your question.

Also, it's spelled "Eagle" and "Goodrich". not that the Eagles are made by BF Goodrich anyway, they are made by Goodyear
