Bad bushings = wheel wobble?

Does this happen? I'm guessing so since i just replaced both my rear wheel bearings and the problem hasn't gone away. I'm just looking for reassurement. I suppose i'll get the delrin kit.

I've got aftermarket toe links and trailing arms, but i think the bushings in the other two arms are shot. I can wiggle my wheel left and right (hence why i thought it was the bearings). I can also hear by suspension squeaking, and my brakes squeaking when i slow down. My guess is because the whole assembly back there is a bit loose.

Anyone cofirm my thoughts?

Thanks

Harrison

Quite possible. The toe link bushings are known for this. I'd check the trailing arm front bushing and rear pillowball too.

ah yes... after looking at the FSM i see that it is the pillowballs that are toast. though, i'm sure i could use the whole bushing kit too. i'm going to search now, but if anyone reads this and knows offhand how much malloy charges for pillowballs post em up. i'm gonna replace em all.

It is quite possible that your aftermarket toe links (and trailing arms) are worn out. I think the rod ends they use generally wear out faster than the stock bushings. I have already replaced the rod ends on mine once, and I don't have very many miles on them.

I used QA-1 XML-10 and XMR-10 rod ends from Jegs -- they seemed like a good deal (they were ~$20 each when I bought them) for the rated strength. I don't have enough miles on them to report on their longevity.
