attn: hawk HP+ pad users

did any of you guy have a clearance issue with the rear calipers your FD whec you installed your HP+ pads? i noticed that my rotors were not "spinning" as freely as they did before i took the old pads off. i figure they just need *settling* and they will be fine.

i turned in the caliper and made sure everything was in line......this wern't my first rodeo...

Sometimes the rear pads are slightly thicker than spec. They'll settle once the extra friction material thickness has been rubbed off.

I've had Carbotech rear pads that were so thick I could not even get the rear caliper over the pads!

How thick though? I've never had a set of HP+'s wider than the clearance of the completely depressed pistons. Have had them drag a little much after install, but once I bedded them, I didn't notice anything.

How are the Hawk HP+ on the rotors? Do they tear 'em up pretty good? I have a set of the Hawk HP+ and I am debating on installing them.....
