Atomic Rex Brake Kit

After my first track day in the rx7 I realised the standard brakes were about as good as a fat persons arteries!

I started looking at brake kits and decided to go for one of the atomic rex kits.

Firstly atomic rex were great to deal with and always responded to emails/calls straight away

I went for the 335/32mm 6 pot kit in gold, there bigger sizes available too.

Took some on the car shots but had to use my phone and they are awful

Have not had a chance to track them yet, but they feel so much better than standard more progressive and powerful.

If anyone is looking at brake kits at the moment I would recommend speaking to Jon at atomic rex.

What size and offset front wheels are those?
What are you using for rear brakes?

Wheels are 17" cant remember what offset.

Still running standard rears at the moment, bias seems fine although not really used them hard yet.

No, although they dont say hi-spec down the side atomic rex stated they were a high spec caliper and dont try to imply that they produce the kits.

Hi-spec arent like the g4, d2........(not the best imo) type kits.
