Is anyone running Enkei RPF1 17x9,9.5,10

I need to up grade my rear wheels and tires. I am currently running 17x8, 225 front and 235 rear. My FD also has RB springs so it sits low. I need more rubber on the ground in the rear and hoping I can use the 17x10 but do not know if it is going to work.
Is anyone running these sizes on the rear?
17x10 18 offset
17x9.5 38 offset
17x9 35 offset
Pics would also be great.
Thanks,
Joe

17x10 +18 will not fit.

The other sizes and offsets will work for the rear.

Thanks for the info.
Is anyone else running one of the other sizes and has pics?

If you search there are many other pictures (and threads) out there floating around.... RPF1s are pretty common on FDs.

Depending on how wide you want to go, you'll need coilovers and aftermarket rear trailing arms.

This is the setup you need and I have it in stock.

17x9+ 45 front with 255/40
17x9.5 +38 rear with 275/40

done, pm me and you'll be all set.

Otherwise just run 9" +45 front and rear with 255's so you can rotate. Depends on how heavy your foot is.

Just installed that setup on my FD tonight.

I can get some pics later if you like, but I am done in the garage for tonight.

The fitment is very good.

If you have a front BBK, 5mm or so spacers will be required to clear the spokes.

My set up in front is fine, I just worried about the back. I want to go as wide as i can, but am worried that with the lowers suspension it may rub the fenders. thanks for your help.

My bad, these wheels are 17x9 +38.

I had wanted to get 17x9.5 in black, but there was a 6 week back order on any of the 17's in 9.5 width.

The tires are 275/40/17 Kumho W710

looks good. Do you think there's enough room for the 9.5's?

RPF1 is not made 17x9 +38 in any color.

Those are 17x9 +45 front and rear in GOLD.

17x9.5 +38 is only offered in Silver btw.

Right, still hung up on not getting the 17x9.5 +38

I have the 17x9 + 45.

And the color is Gold because that is what was available.

I bought these locally at Discount Tire and I was looking at the Enkei wheel list there - fairly sure we saw that 17x9.5 +45 would be available in Black, but on 6 week back order.

IAC I just needed some wheels to put tires on.

Yes. My other set of race wheels is Enkei RPF1 18x9.5 +38 with 285/30/18 Kumho V710 tires.

I have GC Coilover setup with 2.5" diameter springs and rolled fenders.

You may want to check the FD wheel/tire sizing spreadsheet to see if coilovers are required for this size, I can't recall.

nope not possible. That offset was never made in 9.5. only +38 and +15.

Also Black will never happen unless one of the distributors like myself orders 40 pieces of each part # at minimum.

That's how I got special colors made but due to slow movement did not opt to do them again. You will likely see special colors in these fitments:

350Z
Subaru
EVO

That's what distributors can bank on. Definitely not the FD market like me. lolz.....

Nope no coils are required for that size Jared.

Only when you run upwards of 10" +50 to +52 in regards to backspacing. For this fitment you would also need aftermarket trailing arms to provide some additional backspacing in the rear.

Thanks Rishie.

If I had been thinking, I would have just ordered my wheels from you when I got the Carbonetics diff.

After a lot of thought and research, I think I will be going with the 9 inch. Likely with a 275 tire. Thanks for all the help.

I ordered 17X9 - 35 offset with 275/40ZR17 Toyo R1R's. They look great but are to big. With weight in the car they will rub.
If you are running Racing Beat springs DO NOT use this set up! 255/40ZR17 are the max.
Hope this helps the next guy.

Racing Beat springs are known to be too low for a lot of setups and too soft for keeping the suspension from compressing on tight fits. You can fix your problem by getting coilovers. Also, good idea to roll the front fenders. I had to roll mine because of the need for a spacer for BBK clearance.

*Could someone edit my post above to 275/40/17 . I made a typo.

I love the way my FD sits and very much like the Racing Beat springs so tires have to go. I ordered my new tires, 255/40ZR17. With a half inch less in width and diameter, this has to work. Sad thing is I could not return the R1R's because they where ordered just for me so to save money I down graded to T1R's.

Good news is someone will get a very good deal on some R1R's soon.

Would 17x10 +38 fit. I noticed they now have that fitment now. I think it might hit the coils or the trailing arm just wanted to confirm.

Fits fine... 295/35/17 Hoosier R6 with 20mm wide front fenders and a rear fender roll & pull.
