Anyone runnin these wheels?

These are Kyoho Tracers. I did a search and found nothing at all. I was wondering if anyone has ever had these and could tell me if they were pretty strong. I think they look very good. the 18x9.5 weighs only 18.2 pounds and the 17x9 weighs 17.6 pounds. You can get a few other sizes but the 18x9.5 is the largest. I did a conversion from Japanese Yen to us dollars and it came out to be about $435 for the 18x9.5's But i dont know if they are only in Japan or not. That's another reason i was wondering if anyone had these. Thanks a lot

Those look pretty interesting...a theme on the "played out" Volk TE37 except with 6 double spokes... The weights seem relatively lightweight. Without knowing anything about these, I'd venture to say that they're probably fine... in a 17-inch version. I'd be worried about bending an 18-inch on the roads, and that's regardless of who makes the forged wheel...

they look great but i wish that the spokes were totally parallel and didnt get closer together as they get closer to the edge of the rim... owell, theyre still sexy

drewthrewpoo,

Do you have any info on offsets, wheel widths, and the like?

Perhaps Rishie could look into offering these wheels to Forum members?

16x8 32 offset

17x8 35 or 45 offset

17x9 35 or 45 offset

18x8.5 45 offset

18x9.5 38 or 45 offset

Here is a link to that site that i saw this on. I didnt put everything down but i put the ones down that i thought fd owners would like. The site is in Japanese....so i have no clue what the rest says. If someone could translate...well that would be sweet.

The 9 x 17, 45-mm ET will work all the way around, with 255/40-17 tires on an FD.

8.5 fr and 9.5 rr x 18, 45-mm ET will work fr/rr, respectively with 225/40-18 for front tires, and 255/35-18 for rear tires.

FWIW, I don't recommend using really lightweight wheels in 18-inch diameters for road applications... 17-inch diameter is the way to go for public road use. Thus the 9 x 17, 45-mm ET is the way to go
