anyone have problems balancing a wheel w/ Falkens?

I've read/heard about it, and now I had it happen to me on one of my wheels

Had a professional shop mount and balance the tires & rims...3 of the 4 weren't a problem. Then the fourth gave 'em problems...it took a lot of weight to get it balanced right.

Granted, it is now "balanced," but my worry is, is it bad/have any drawbacks that it took a considerable amount of weight?

I stopped by another shop to get their opinion, and they said sometimes it happens...as long as it's balanced and you're not feeling any wobble, to leave it alone. But basically sometimes it just depends on where you mount the valve stem...if you took it off and remounted the tire in a diff orientation, it might go away...(but again he said if it's not causing problems, just let it be)

any ideas/comments?

That's interesting, I've had the same problem. I figured it was my wheels, which have taken some abuse. But I didn't have any balancing problems before, with other tires. On 2 of mine, the machine said the wheel was bent. I put those on the back.

Could be your rims, could be the tire. I just know for a fact that sometimes ppl have had trouble balancing their rims w/ Falkens...

and i definetly wanna find out what the possible implications/ramifications are...
