Most issues of RX-7 Magazine have photos of Model 5's on FD's, pick one up.

A friend of mine had these on his supra... we took one off, weighed it, and subtracted the tire manufacturers posted weight, and it turned out to be something like 24 lbs.

They are nice looking, but for the 800/per wheel price i've seen for them, you could get Fikse's or something else.

800 per wheel??? What size are they? You can get 18's for around 550 a wheel.

My friends were 18x9.5's and 18x8.5s (i think). If you can get 'em cheaper thats great... 800 was what i ever saw in the few places i've ever seen them offered.

I'd be curious what Advan says they weigh compared to our non-scientific result.

FWIW, i think they are great looking.

EDIT:
My fiend's may have been the old VS5... the version where the split-spokes don't go all the way to the rim lip... not sure if thats what they call the model 5 now or not... his came with the car, and i imagine were purchased through Stillen, since they were Stillens rim du jour at the time the car was built.
