Any way to further reduce body roll?

I've been trying to get my car ready for a track day, but one thing that's been bothering me is that I get rubbing on my front driver's side fender under hard cornering. This bothers me because I know there's that pretty important wiring harness underneath the fender liner, and the wheel will rub every time I corner hard or go over a bump. Is there any way to shorted suspension travel, or more practically, reduce body roll? I like my ride height now, it would kinda suck to have to raise that corner up a little bit.

My passenger side doesn't have rubbing issues, but I get the impression that it doesn't rub because it's slightly higher than the driver's side.

I noticed that the FD has a little more body roll than my FC. Is this just inherent to the design of the suspension, or am I missing something here? I have 560lb. front springs, and a big thick Suspension Techniques sway bar in front, if that helps at all.

Anyways, here's a few pics, could you track guys determine if this is a uselessly low ride height for me? (shame if it is though, I like the way it looks)

smaller wheels will help...and a thicker rear sway bar.

oooh, that could be my problem... my rear swaybar is removed at the moment, because I'm searching for a new rear endlink after one of mine got chewed up.

You're not going to fix your problem without raising the car up.

You are way too low. What are the wheel offsets/sizes and tire sizes?

How much do you weigh?
My car did the same thing with 255 40 17 on 17X9's and 45 offset. Had to slightly roll the fender lip a tiny bit on the driver's side. My car is not lowered nearly as much as yours, and I weigh 200lbs.

In the fronts I believe they're +45 or +48, 18x9.5 and I'm running a 265/35/18 tire. I figured I'd have to raise the car up a bit, I think about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch should do that trick. Heck, I still have to get corner-balanced, so I could just raise that corner up when I'm having that done. My passenger side is slightly higher (and doesn't rub at all), so I could just raise the driver's side up to that height and I could still have a fairly low-slung looking car.

rotoober, I weigh 155lbs., so I dunno if my weight makes a big difference. I already rolled the fender lips in a little bit when I thought that was causing the rubbing, but it turns out it was actually rubbing against the fender liner at the top of the fender...

If you raise the LF ride height only you will be affecting the static corner weights of the car. making the car Oversteer more on LH turns and US on right, etc. Im not sure what a standard FDs corner weights are like with a 200lbish driver so maybe its going to bring it more to neutral, but I doubt it..

the RARB on or off will do little to change the front roll angle unless it is absolutely massive. just raise the car up slightly and reinstall RARB (do you notice more understeer without it?)

With 265/35 18s up front, you will want to run a ride height of 25.5" or so. Run this all around.

You will be amazed when you get (I'd upgrade...the stock rear FD bar is quite the decoration) a bar back on

Since rolling your fenders has already been mentioned, since you spoke of your sway bars i imagine you've already got strutters as well? I think the last step would be chassis bracing & track only springs?

Thanks for the advice, I'll set this ride height at all corners next chance I get. Is that measurement from the top of the fender to the ground?

Yes. It looks like you are running about 24.5" up front right now. Too low.

Make sure you corner weight it at the same time, matching diagonal totals. One sway bar link disconnected front and back, 1/2 tank gas. After, if bar links no longer fit right, adjust link or put shims under pivot clamps so they easily fit, with car on "drive on" alignment lift.

Yup what Ryn said, 25.5 for a 265.35

Those are my thoughts.
