any 'junkyard' rims fit our cars?

I want to pull my rims off and fix some stuff on them and get new tires and such, but i need something to put on there. anyone know of any junkyard rims that would fit right?

would any late 80s early 90s supras fit, or fc3s, maybe some datsuns or even like thunderbirds and dsms.

i was just wondering, i kinda want to throw some different rims on anyways while it is in storage getting torn apart and put back together.

before it goes to storage, i probobly will do a few more of these though

Don't know of any specifically, but you might be able to find 4 of the "dummy" spares for cheap.

Nice pic BTW!

Honda accord 5 lug, for temp. off set and back space are wrong but to just roll they should work.

does it have to be 16's or do some 15's work. I do have coilovers if that helps...

i dont care if its not right, but as long as it fits and dont wobble or anything.

i know of a couple mk3 supras are in a junkyard with good tires.
15$ a piece.

No, that's not true, the wheels need to fit over the brakes, the hub bore needs to be large enough to allow the wheel face to mate to the hub, and the offset needs to be close enough to have the wheels fit under the fenders (although if it's just sitting that's not really a concern, as long as they don't hit stuff on the inside).

I'm pretty sure that teh Mk IV Supra wheels need to have the hub bore enlarged to fit on the FD.

Try looking at some Ford Probe wheels.

I read some things that suggest they might fit.

I borrowed my friend's Mustang wheels last time I needed a temporary replacement, and they fit just fine. Mustangs are a dime a dozen at local junkyards.

Mx6/Probe wheels have the same pattern as Sec gen Rx7's so I am assuming if the FD's wheels fit an FC(i know they need offset) then they will work..If the car Is just goin to sit there on the Crappy Rims, use Some Washers as Spacers if the Offset is wrong.

don't forget to take centerbore into account.
fd is 67.1ish mm, which is fairly large

on that note scratch my earlier comments
240sx centerbore is 66.1, too small
300zx is also too small iirc
FC3S no worky, 59.6mm too small
only later v6 accords are good
93-96 probes only, rest are too small
etc etc

this link should clear things up

just my luck i got those rims off the dsm, i havent tried it yet, but they are great

well not really great looking, but great for a spare/ beat rims.
they are 17 X 7.5 and a 40mm offset, will that work fine

the centerbore is hug, you wont believe hos bad i have to rig it to get them off with the janky lock nuts.

lol, they are some tread to, which aint going to last long before i go to store if they fitt right...
and these are just going on the rear for now, i am going to buy a set of stock fd rims asap
