Am I missing anything in these pics? Everything in the right order? (FD)

Still chasing a clunk in the rear after changing all my pillow ***** and bushings.

The car came with Koni's/Prokits when I bought it and I thought I'd check with you gurus if everything is as it should be. I already found the spring perch installed upside down, so who knows.

As it sits, these are the parts in order from lowest (spindle) to highest:

Koni Yellow Shock Absorber
Spring Perch
Lower Spring Rubber isolator
Upper Shock mount (with upper spring rubber and bumpstop installed)
Rubber donut looking thing
Metal Spacer Sleeve
Hex nut
Thinner Rubber/metal donut looking thing
Lock Washer
Hex Nut

(as pictured below)

It's odd because when it is assembled, the upper donut thingy just floats... it looks like it should be isolating noise/bumps but it doesn't touch anything in this configuration. Here is what it looks like when the car is on the ground (yes, I stripped that stud just now, it wasn't the problem):

The service manual doesn't mention the upper donut, I'm guessing it's somewhere else in the manual?

Any help is appreciated.

The "upper donut thingy" Is suposed to "float". I will be removing my coilovers tonight or tomorrow and will keep this thread in mind. But it looks to be in the proper order. Seems like your clunk might be in a different spot.

Did you change the pillow ***** and bushings that support your differential?
Is your PPF cracked?

I know that I have one bad diff bushing. I bought new MS diff mount bushings and split one in the press !

Anyway, I'm embarassed to say that 85-90% of the rear end clunking was solved by replacing $20 worth of rubber hatch stoppers.

The rubber hatch stoppers are about 10" behind the strut towers. When you're in the drivers seat trying to see where noise is coming from, it sure seems like it's coming from the struts.

I'm going to do some sound deadening back there and it should be 100% quiet now.

Thanks for all the help.
