Advan A048 feedback

Any of you guys running these for time attack/auto cross/canyon runs? I would be mounting them on the following:

Work XD9 (F: 18x8.0/R: 18x9.0)
Tokico Illum w/ RB springs
Fenders are not currently rolled

I was thinking 245/35 in front and 275/30 in the back. I think I would be fine out back, but 245 might be a little big for the front without a roll.

Sorry for the n00bness, I searched and came up with zilch. Any and all feedback for these tires and sizes is greatly appreciated. School is in session!

Yokohama's coming out with some new R-comps, the AO50's I believe.

If you haven't bought them, and are budget minded, I would go with some other R-comps in that class, Toyo R888 or Nitto NT-01. The Yoko's are just too overpriced.

If you're getting them for cheap, they're a pretty good tire.

It looks like you can find them for around $150-230 a piece, which I guess isn't too bad. Maybe the new A050 will drop prices? I'd probably stock-up then.

I'll check out the Toyo/Nitto sets, thanks guys.

I'm not much of a tire tester but I found them to be require a lot of heat for them to be sticky enough for short stints like Autocross. Great wearing Road Race tire though.
