Adapting domestic struts to fit ground controls on fc?

Was looking at drag suspensions. And these are supercheap, and adjustable with good drag valving. Has anyone ever adapted any of these or know if they would fit, or could. i assume weld the mounting for the rears on, dunno how that would do for structural stability. it is holding your frame up after all.
or is that fronts with teh two sidemounting parts?
