Active wheel speed sensors

Has anyone added active(hall) sensors to their hubs while using the stock 44 tooth tone ring? Cherry sensors as an example.

My VR ABS sensors still work but they pick up a lot of noise while stationary. I'm wanting to add active sensors for my aftermarket ECU.

I'd sure love any info on making such sensors (or non-stock sensors) work with the stock ABS. That would facilitate an aftermarket spindle potentially using RX8 wheel bearings which would be a significant step up.
