Abs unit fault?

Hello everyone,

I ve been having a problem with my abs system
when the car is driven aggresively the rear wheels block.
and in the past my front right wheel blocked..

No abs light lights up in the dash, nothing shows in the diagnostic computer.
I have heard many stories of the abs units go bad.
Any idea or recommendations of installing a unit that wont go bad after a few miles? a conversion maybe from a nissan etc?? (my car is a 2002 and supposely the 99+ abs units are upgraded than the 93-95 models)

any input is greatly appreciated

Thanks

Hey Costas did you have this problem before or after you installed the APP brake kit? If its after maybe you need to check the brake bias. Sometimes if you installed very big brakes and still have abs maybe it can fool the sensors on the abs unit

oops i wanted to say the sensors on the wheels can give false readings to the abs unit due to the bigger diameter of the rotors and if the brake bias is not correct can lock the wheels.
