About to order wheels...

I'm getting 17X10 and 17X9 Volk GTN's. I want to know what would be the best offset for the 10's in the rear and 9's in the front on my FD. I want them to fit perfect, I was thinking a 38 in the rear would give me a nice lip on the wheel and would not rub even lowered. The front however, i'm still not too sure on. Lend me your opinions please. Thanks.

i'm not an expert but I think that a 38 offset in the rear will rub, unless you are running coilovers. I just installed a set of Fikse FM 10's that are 10' wide and +44 in the rear and they come very close to the springs in the rear. i would look more in the mid 40's for an offset.

Marshall, i'm at work right now, so I can't check my offsets, but I am running the CE28's with a 10.5 in the rear, and i needed to pick up a set of toe links (went ahead with the trailing arms) to get the rears to fit, and they BARELY squeeze in with 285 BS S-03's. When i get home, I will post what offset they are.

I'm going to be running the Tien Flex coilovers with these wheels.
